Our client, a respected not-for-profit community organisation and the only of its’ kind in the world are seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to compliment their existing small and professional team. This position will be responsible for the recruitment, coordination, administration and ongoing development and growth of the organisation’s voluntary program.

This position will be managing an initial team of 6 with the expectation to grow the team by 100% in a planned fashion over a 12 month period. Whilst there are other volunteers within the organisation who staff the peer support program the Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for managing the office based resources including research, social media, communications, operational and administrative roles for example.
This position will be offered as 1 or 2 full working days (negotiable) and will be based in the CBD. Whilst the start date is negotiable we’re ideally seeking an ASAP commencement.
