A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to come on board and take ownership of our finance function as part of our strategy to double in size by 2020.

Reporting to the CFO and supported by a bookkeeper – this role will suit an outgoing individual with a positive outlook and passion for their career. Consideration will be given to flexible working arrangements to accommodate the right candidate. Remuneration up to $100K incl super & bonus.

The role will feature two broad areas of responsibility:

  • A hands-on role overseeing the whole accounting, reporting and analysis processes of the business including transaction processing, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and finance systems.
  • Supporting key personnel as a key business partner in ensuring the optimal financial running of the business including provision of financial insights & analysis, decision support, one-off project work, and overall improving our processes and systems.

You are likely to be CPA / ACA qualified, and will have experience in both the business partnering and accounting/reporting associated with a dynamic small to medium sized enterprise. Given the small size of our team – flexibility and an ability to multi-task will be a must. Exposure to the IT or Professional Services industries would be well regarded.

We are looking for a finance professional suited to a dynamic organisation – and a person with a track-record of working in a less structured environment, displaying initiative, intellect, and people skills. We value insights as much as information; and a commercial focus in addition to the numbers.
