Our client is a large not-for-profit community enterprise providing high-quality education programs. With over 750 staff across 75+ sites, they deliver kindergarten and Early Learning Care Services to over 6,500 children and families in programs each week across Melbourne.
About the role
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will lead a small team of professional staff and agencies to deliver efficient and effective communications, marketing and customer service services to position the organisation as a leader in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
To be successful, it is essential you have at least four years’ experience in a similar senior leadership role (where you have gained strong people leadership and management experience) as well as a degree in Communications, Marketing or relevant discipline. You will have extensive experience in developing and implementing communication and marketing strategy initiatives, with a particular focus on reputation management, internal communications, digital marketing, and customer service to realise growth aspirations.
You will have highly developed verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team and strong stakeholder management skills to effectively build and maintain strategic relationships with key external stakeholders. Ideally, you will have working knowledge of the development and management of robust and user-oriented service systems and proven experience in leading, communications and customer experience improvement initiatives.

An attractive salary package is on offer including base salary, superannuation, mobile, laptop and carparking. Flexible work arrangements are available for the successful candidate including: 3-4 days or 5 days (school hours) and working from home occasionally. As this is an Executive level role, there is an expectation that there may be occasional meetings after hours from time to time.
